Ex-Cardinals Exec Terry McDonough Accused of Choking Neighbor, Using Derogatory Terms

Former Arizona Cardinals front-office executive Terry McDonough is facing assault charges after being accused of choking his neighbor.

According to the Associated Press, McDonough has a court date of April 11. Court documents filed in Mecklenburg County show that the neighbor alleges that McDonough "chest-bumped him and then put his hands around his neck and tried to choke him, while shouting obscenities and derogatory terms, on March 12."

The alleged victim said in the criminal affidavit that the confrontation occurred because McDonough was upset about some tractor equipment damaging his lawn. The man levied further accusations at McDonough, stating he "has a history of volatile behavior and also (was) publicized in national news related to a case he has with the Arizona Cardinals.
